POSITION:            Bus Mechanic

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold a Valid CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement (training provided)
• Previous experience as an automotive, light & heavy-duty truck mechanic for gas and diesel applications required.
• Commercial vehicle repair & service experience.
• Ability to organize and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records.
• Ability to utilize computerized diagnostic & manual test methods in identifying service replacement & vehicle/equipment repair needs.
• PA State Inspection license required.
• Automobile Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in PA preferred.
• Have strong organizational, communicative and interpersonal skills.

REQUIREMENTS: 

High school diploma or equivalent.

Hours may vary based on transportation department needs.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in adverse weather conditions.

Current Act 34 and Act 151 Clearances and Act 114 (FBI) Clearances.   

STARTING DATE:  On/about October 26, 2026

SALARY:                According to the negotiated contract
